Hi Kali-Nikki,

Indeed I do remember you from the depression forum. I'm sorry to hear that your symptoms aren't improving. I really recommend you see a doctor soon to get some relief. Especially if you believe you are bipolar. Depression goes on and on and doesn't go away on its own, most of the time, but bipolar will actually worsen if not treated. If you fear that you have bipolar, you really need to see a mental health professional and ask for an evaluation.

You ARE going to get through this, but you need to reach out for some help. It's fantastic that you found us and are reaching out here, but you need to reach out to real people near you who can help you in practical ways as well. If your family is unreliable, look into other sources of support -- the university, friends, free mental health clinics in your town.

Keep us up to date on how your doing and what steps you're taking.

hi. i have suffered from a variety of mental illnesses since i was a child. i was dignosed as mildly bi-polar just a few yrs. ago. the one thing i know is that you do not have to feel the way you do. there are so many caring drs. and terrific meds. that can help you. please go to the dr. asa. it sometimes takes the meds. a little while to kick in, but dont give up. and if 1 med doesnt work, another 1 will. you CAN feel better! good luck, cbear

Thank you guys. Today was an 'okay' day. Yesterday was awful except for in the night i got another excited hopeful rush. Today i tried to not think about any of my problems. I am honestly tired and fed up. I would just like to lay down and waste away. My mood swings are severe.
