I am new to this forum but have been in a relationship with a great girl who is bipolar.  I have a recent post entitled, "im new..have a relationship problem and need advice" or something like that.  I know that at times it is difficult for me to understand my girlfirends actions and reactions to certain events and I have been able to handle them consistently for some time but this current situation is somehow very different this time around.  I dont mean to clog up this forum or anything but I ask that if any of you can look at my previous post (I know that it is very long and may seem drawn out; but I needed to explain the entire situation) and if you happen to be bipolar or have experienced a somewhat similar situation I would really appreciate some advice as to what I should do.  I guess I am searching for an explanation as to how she may be feeling, and how I should react, and also I am considering the possiblity that she may be cycling to a form of mania.  And I know my best bet for understanding is speaking with people that may understand where she is coming from.  My previous post explains the issue and I am simply not accepting moving on as an alternative,at least not at this point. I care about her way too much and have been through so many great things (both wonderful and very difficult) with her.  Thanks.

Hi Tonyistony,

At this point, there's nothing in your post to indicate that she is currently in any sort of cycle. That's not to say she isn't, it's just to say we have no evidence of that from what you wrote. When she gets back and you've talked to her again, you may get a better picture of what kind of mood she's in.

Good luck,
