Yeah, bipolar doesn't go away, I'm afraid. I'm sorry your symptoms are getting worse after a few good years. You should probably get to a doctor. Even without insurance, you should still be able to see one. Most towns have a mental health clinic which sees patients on a sliding scale. They usually offer therapy as well.
In the meantime, the rules of bipolar: minimize stress, no alcohol, and get plenty of regular sleep. Not as easy as they sound written out like that, but goals to work towards.
