Hi all

Been away a while. What did I miss?

I am doing quite well. I am on 8 mg lorazepam which keeps me zonked so I can't tell if I am doing any worse or better.

On 600mg lamotrigine, 30 mg mirtazapine, and 700 mg lithium. (I have to get my liver levels checked every month.)

Doc is going to try to drop ataivan (thats easier to type than lorazepam) and work with abilify. I've looked at some posts and abilify appears to be somewhere between wonderful to a witches brew.

But good to be back. Look forward to hearing from you all.

Cap

Glad to have you back Cap, we've missed you! I had good results with abilify, but have since dropped it. You know -- too many medications, too little time. I hope it does okay for you.

We've just been carrying on as usual. How about you?

Things been going well. I got a security job at a movie theater. It's lower than a mall cop, but I like it. Very easy too. I only had one problem, and thanks to my forementioned karate skills was very minor. Plus, in this relatively small town, word spread quick that the theater has a white Mr. Miyagi for security. So now a kid will apologize if he just spills his popcorn.

After a while all the movies get boring. Just imagine watching them for 9 hours a day. Makes you miss tv commercials. But the concession and tickets girls, the projector guy and I play dominoes most of the day. Its fun. And it keeps me in one place so my wife knows where I am all day.

Wife is doing well. She got a Doctor's office job. She likes it although it is way below her skill level. But, come to think of it, this is the best we have done in a long time.
