Hello. I have been stuck in a deep depression for two years now although I am bipolar. I thought I would ask the question in both forums to get as much information as possible.

I have no appetite... the only thing I like to eat is sweets. Cake, cookies... stuff like that. I am really looking for advice on what to eat. I just don't have the energy or desire to cook. Anyone have any ideas for food/recipes that are simple but nutritious.

Should I make an eating schedule? I don't know what to do... please help!
Thank you
Karin

When I was depressed I started watching cooking shows on t.v.
I don't know why. But it made me more interested in food. I like
to make a chopped salad with apples, nuts, cucumbers, tomatoes
and whatever is in the fridge...then pour a viniagrette dressing on top.
Fresh veggies really help my body/mind. Peanut butter and jelly on
brown bread is easy and good too. Also those baked rotisserie chickens
from the grocery deli are delicious, easy, and a good protein source.
