Hello, Devin Morris

There is no way I could read that post and not try to reach out to you. I am not a therapist or anything, but a concerned citizen,  but be easy man...how do you feel about yourself, I heard you mention what everyonelse thinks. If you have a fiancee, if you love her and she loves you tried to live through that if nothingelse. Seek guidence my man.. death!!! trust me is not the answer your looking for, and if you were unsuccessful at it before...take it as a sign my man...

Peace, hope it all works out for you

hello and welcome. the 1st thing that stood out to me was when you said you couldnt sleep. sleep deprivation is a serious problem and can effect mood. you MUST get sleep. please go to your dr. and explain that you cannot sleep. you said you had seen counselors who thought you were crazy. you are not crazy. you are sick. no good counselor would ever tell you that. you need, in my opinion, to be seeing a psychiatrist who can counsel you and prescribe the appropriate meds. your family may be acting like they are because they are not knowledgable about your illness. your mood swings may be a sign of bi-polar disease, although i am NOT a dr.your suicide attempts are a cry for help and you must get some. the psychiatrist can also talk with your family and explain whats going on with you. remember your illness is not your fault, so dont let anyone make you believe differently. please get some GOOD professional help. i wish you well. keep us posted.

Hi Devin,

You've received some great advice so far. I'm sorry you're struggling so hard right now. I totally know how you feel. If you feel like you just can't make it, please call one of the following numbers first:

National Suicide Hotline
1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433)
This is a combined network of the Amerian Association of Suicidology, the National Hopeline Network, CONTACT USA, and many other organizations. Call are automatically routed to the nearest crisis center to the phone from which the call for help is placed.

Helpful Web Sites:
Suicide Hotlines (listed by state)
Suicidal.com (includes Suicide Crisis Center and Depression and Suicide)

You can always come here and vent. No one judges or thinks ill of you here.
