I am really struggling to accept this.  New med that was good for one week, then sent me into total mania, and I could not control my tongue movement.  Stop med and called Dr., he said re start it, but I forgot to tell him about muscle movement, so did not restart and left message for him to call me today.  I just can not fathom taking meds rest of my life, even though I knew this was correct Dx (2nd opinion, new PDoc, old one retired and never would come right out and say what the problem was, mentioned rapid cycler alot).  I am more educated about the condition now, but I feel terrible today and all I want is to feel better, forget about it and go on with life.

Any helpful tips from you great people experienced with dealing with BP1?  Regular MD said I did not have it and thought I had high anxiety and put me on meds that did not really help.  I went to MD after PDoc retired, I thought, I do not need a specialist, I can go forward without one.  Well, that lasted 6 months and I kept calling to make appt and would then cancel, finally I kept it.

PDoc just called back and said that involuntary muscle movement takes years or even decades to surface and insist that I restart med.  Have appt with him next Friday, so I guess I will be a good patient and do what he tells me.
