Hello everyone. I hope that all is well. I have bipolar for years but just about a couple years ago I finally got the help I needed. It has been a serious struggle, for me, my kids, and my husband. I started writing about my bipolar, in the hopes it will help me cope, and help someone else who may be struggling with bipolar. Here is my link if anyone is interested: http://sites.google.com/site/angelaledckeandbipolar/

I joined this community because there are many times I feel all alone, I want to talk to someone, anyone, and there is noone around. I can't just call my friends at their work, or bug my husband while he is working. I have looked for a reliable bipolar community and after searching for a long while, I decided that healing well seemed to be the best fit for me.

Angela

Thanks to all of you who have Welcomed me with open arms.

Welcome Angela. I think you will like the support of our group. I know what you mean about feeling alone at times. Finding a good support group, even if online helps. I will check out your blog :)

Hi Angela,

Welcome to HealingWell and the bipolar board. It's good to have you. Thanks for sharing your blog with us. I hope you keep writing. I find it's very helpful. It's good to have other people to talk to about this disorder who understand what you're going through.

I am really glad I found this place. I have been doing a lot of reading on people's posts. I may not comment a whole lot, but reading what other people like me are going through and how they manage has been enlightening.

Angela...one good thing about forums like ours it that it helps you not feel so alone. Especially with a disease like Bipolar which can be very distancing. Here, you are very likely to see that many struggle with the same things you do. And we are here to support eachother.
I still need to check out your blog, I guess when I have some free time :)

This forum is the best! It is very helpful. I like to people too.

where we all can go to and talk too.

Haven't had any luck getting members. I love creating stuff on the web whether it be a website, forum or just a page of random things. It's my way to stay busy and when I have a bad day, I just go and create.

Welcome Angela
This forum is the best, I usually am on the Lyme forum cuz I have lyme disease, but when I read your blog
I thought I was reading about myself.

When talking about the triggers, its a scary thought. WOW girl did you open my eyes.

Back in the early 70's my grandma was diagnosed with Bi-Polar and had alot of issues with depression.
When I was 4 she killed herself, I never understood what had happened until I got older and had questions.
But the questions came from the memories I had and wanted ansswers for, cuz I thought I may have been
going through what she was, just I was always good at hiding stuff such as feelings and emotions.
But now that im older, going to 41 in Jan it has taken a tole on my family and friends also...

I have so much to deal with living with lyme but I also feel I have some unresolved issues from the past
that I cant get out of my head. Not that they really matter but the keep coming up whether I want them to
or not....

I hope you can find comfort in dealing with your disease, you so deserve it as much as your husband and kids.

Parachute Pants!!! WOO HOO!! Loved'em then, mine where purple. I can see myself now at the friday night dance at the High school shaking my rear in them now....Everyone had to have them after that.

Good Luck in all you can accomplish
Stacy

--Hi Harleyrider, I edited your post very slightly, so as to not be triggering to vulnerable readers. See forum rule #1. Thanks! Serafena

Angela -- You must have missed my revisions to your earlier post.

Forum rules say it's okay to post links to personal pages, such as blogs, but not to promote other forums:

"5. No advertising or links to advertising or "Spam" is permitted (including signatures).

* Advertising or Spam is defined as posting a link for the purpose of selling, soliciting or promoting by someone that has ownership or other "vested interest" to the web site involved, including efforts to promote other online forums or web sites by web site owners.
* If you are a web site owner and have a link that fits into this category that you want to share, please submit it to our resource directory and we will review your submission.
* Posts and links about fundraising (including nonprofit fundraisers) are NOT permitted.
* Only links to personal home pages are allowed in signatures and member profiles. Links must be appropriate and abide by rules #1-4 or they will be removed.
* Links to helpful web sites (commercial or otherwise) are allowed when they are posted by someone without any "vested interest" AND whose purpose is NOT to solicit, advertise, promote, fundraise, etc.

I have edited out the link. I hope you'll understand.

Okay guys, I am having a bad "low" today. Not sure if I told you all I broke my stupid foot. Well now to add to that, I woke up with a serious pinched nerve somewhere in my back, and I can't move. What a way to wake up. I feel so darn worthless. I am a clean freak and now on top of not being able to walk around that easy, I can't even turn my neck, then to bend or move it feels like I am being stabbed in my back. You know.... I have back problems already, which henders me enough, but today.......... I have had it. I am frustrated, and my husband just says "honey lay in bed all day, and relax" . Relax, shoot I have been bed bound for a week already because of my foot. I am tired of being in bed. Here I am this major obsessed clean freak, and dishes haven't been done, laundry is pilling up, and floors need cleaned. AAAAaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!

The holidays are practically here and I have to be banged up on top of my christmas blues I am having. I have friends I wish I could call and talk to but they just don't seem to understand me when I am having these episodes of depression. Sure they understand that I am in physical pain, but my emotions are going wild, I feel like I am spiralling into a really bad low. I am actually scared. So I got on here hoping there are people online to talk to.
