eyes I find it hard to deal with my niece she is bipolar 1 and I'm 2. She thinks were the same. I have a hard time dealing with her.She gets very aggressive at times can this be part of her polar??? I have to deal with her every day, and it gets hard to deal with her. I have a hard time handling her she cycles so fast. I mean she changes in minutes not days. Does she need different drugs??? I have mine under control.

She is now in a mental hospital and I'm hoping they can get it under some control. she pings off the walls most of the time. She really gets to me and it gets hard for me to deal, I've upped my drugs just to keep myself straight.

Yeah,

If she's suffering and having mania and rapid cycling, it is hard to bear, but I would think that of all her family, you would be most equipped to help her understand what's going on and how to get stabilized. If you are the sole caretaker, I hope you're getting some support for that: seeing a counselor, etc.

I'm glad to hear you're stable and doing okay, especially this time of year.
I hope your niece comes out of the hospital doing better.

Good luck,

My sister is a bp 1 with rappid cyling.  It is one of the hardest to treat of the bp,  I have a sister with it and she will not take the medication because it makes her sluggish.  All I can do when she says that she is not bp is remind her of what cycle will come next, because I try and monitor her to help her.  Good luck and just keep talking to the person so that you can slowly talk them down at times.
