Just a quick introduction... I am new to this thread.. dealing with my partner's issues over on the hepatitis thread... but when I was young... counselor said I was bp.. however... had mood swings... but never psychotic.. and much related to caffeine consumption... in later years.... has been unipolar.. towards chronic depression... and suffer PTSD and Anxiety also...
I find that having a partner who shares these things also helps... when I'm down...  and I stay up all night... he does the same... he has been a help and a God send..  Sandi

Hi sandi,

Thanks for joining in. I'm sorry to hear about your partner's hepatitis. That must be hard. Have you talked to a counselor or even better, a psych, about your struggles with mood?

well I don't struggle anymore... after menopause... and a good exercise program... my moods evened out... I haven't struggled with the depression lately but it's always there waiting... I have PTSD and don't process traumatic info easily... even easy info... but actually am very functional... doing fine... I chose to not be medicated... I don't like medication so do natural things like rest, keep away from high drama situations and people... have dog... etc.. and found that hard physical labor helps immensely and I love it...
