Does you body temp change according to your episode?  I've noticed I am COLD (curled up under a blanket and shivering) when depressed and comfortable or warm when not.  Being cold is often one of the first signs of a depressive episode coming on.

Anyone else experience that?

You know, now that you mention it i have that also. Last night i had a med mania going  on and i was WAY to hot so i was working in my T shirt. This was during the time we didnt have heat in the house and it was in the 20's outside. (waiting on a fuel oil deleviery, everything is good again) tongue  SO i am having a med level mania and end up cleaning the kitchen like a lunatic.  Thank god the dog doesnt judge me, he was just hanging out getting leftovers and treats. LOL LOL LOL
And when i get depressed i get cold, so does my wife also now that i think of it.
Good job, you might be on to something here. At least it might be anoter warning sign to be on the look out for.

tortoise,

just out of curiosity -- when was the last time you had your thyroid checked. Excessive temperature sensitivity can indicate problems with your thyroid.

It's been about 6 weeks, and it was normal.  They test it pretty often because I mention that I get cold when I'm depressed.  But I also get body chills with anxiety and will sit in a 70 degree room shivering uncontrollably...
