It means waiting for a new med to be developed because all that is out there now either makes me sick or makes me worse.  It means waking up everyday and not knowing if it will be an up day or a down day or a mixed bag day.  It means savoring every single moment that I feel well to the fullest.

It means i will experience higher highs than anything a "normal" person will ever experience. It means my love will be deeper and painted with more shades of color than i could ever imiagine. It means i will have the ability to create amazing things, and perform my jobs at the highest of levels.
It means i live a life that only people here can ever understand. I will fight the same fight every day the rest of my life to keep me on top of this beast.

Yes there are days that i hate this desease, but most days i try to turn lemons into lemonade and think of it as a great GIFT, not a curse. I just have to figure out how to live with it so that i stay in control and it doesnt get out of control. Besides what choice do we have, there is no cure for this. If it was cancer we might have a remission, if it was smoking we could get any number of items to help us quit. At the end of the day there is allways going to be this thing inside of us no matter what we do. We may mask it, we may drug it, we may achieve some day to day victories, but in the end it will allways be there.

So i say to god and fate "Hey, you going to throw this at me, watch me use it to make my life even better."

So endth todays happy session with Bill

It means not knowing what kind of mood I am going to have each day I wake up.  I hate having this disease!  People say well just take the meds or when you are having a bad time people say call your doctor.  What is he going to do change another med or add one.  I can't go through that again.

I will definitely post something more positive when I am well...

But right now, it means Crisis for me. I've been on the phone with Crisis line in my area, off and on over the last 24 hours, trying to stay out of hospital.  Right now, I am in crisis because of this illness and I don't know how to get out.

It means taking my meds and the side effects along with them
because not being on meds is much worse.

It means acceptance that I have this disease yet detachment so
that my life isn't run by it.

I have not been fully diagnosed yet but from reading peoples posts and now reading a little bit on line so many things now make sense.

BiPolar already means to me that so many people will not understand how I am feeling or why but there are also a group of people who know exactly how Im feeling and that makes me smile. It also means that if this group of people can be so strong about this condition then so can I.
