Well my new job failed!!! I was there only a week.  I went to work yesterday and got a call late last night that I did not have to reprot to work again. I keep playing the whole week over in my head and can not for the life of me see what went wrong.  I am now so depressed. Does anyone get that way when things do not have things go your way? I am also irratile!! I dont want to be but I liked that job it was easy and time went by fast. I work for a temp company but I thought I was doing a good job and I was told that this was a long term possition.  It must have been very bad because my husband answered the phone last night because I was sleeping. He was told that I did not have to go back and they would call to talk to me today. They have not called and I dont want to call them. I am scared of what they are going to say. I do not feel I did anything wrong and will be upset if somone accused me of something that I did not do. Please help me get through this I am a wreck.

Darn it all im sorry to hear that for both of you. But SLZ you cant be afraid of finding out what they say is the reason is. For all you know in this economy they decided that the position wasnt one they needed filled after all. If you can honestly tell us that you feel like you did fine than the economy is the only thing it could be. Dont give up there you two, you can make it but some falls along he way are to be expected. Not welcomed but we all have them.

Neither of you are failures, i have failed way more times than i have succeeded, but those failures have taught me more than all my success put together. Just hang in there and dont beat yourselves up to hard. Im willing to bet that it wasnt your fault at all. We are here for you so keep posting.

Thank You all for your responses.
I still have not heard anything from the temp company but i did talk to a friend that I used to work with that is also working at this place and she said she knew nothing about me getting canned she stated that she figured I would be back today (WED). She was shocked. I will not call this temp company back they are unprofesional and I feel like they have some explaining to do! I have NEVER been fired from a job EVER. I have been working for 16 years! I am mad now very mad!!!! I was told this is a long term possition and that I needed to look professional and so I went out and bought $300 worth of now worthless colothes. I dont have $300 to spend and they lied to me about the pay to. I will let you know if I do hear anything . Thank you for your support let me know what you think.
