So I had a little bit of a romantic interest going on, I knew we needed to have a sit down and talk about a lot of things going on, but she's in a nother town and we really just text (which I hated!). I look on facebook of all places yesterday and the first thing on my page says "Charlotte went from being "single" to being "In A Relationship".
I knew we weren't quite a couple yet, and that we needed to seriously think about what we had going on, but this whole time she's been flirting with me, telling me how good I make her feel, how she's so excited to see me, wants to go to this concert or that restoraunt this weekend, then BLAM. Apparently I'm an idiot and she just wanted me to treat her like the only woman in the world because that's what friends do.
I broke down yesterday. Luckily I had band practice and couldn't start drinking because I had to drive. All I know is that every single time I open my heart to a girl I give her the world and she gives me back about three weeks then leaves me for somebody that treats her like crap.
Why do girls want to be treated badly? Is there any room left for a young romantic like me? I'm attractive, I am funny, I'm intelligent, but all girls seem to be interested in is friendship. Sometimes it would be so much easier to be gay. Unfortunately I find the male genitalia repulsive, and most men in general, repulsive.

awww...   (((hug)))
I think you need to be totally bluntly painfully honest with yourself and WRITE DOWN what it is you are looking for.
Then look at that list, imagine that person, and imagine what she would be looking for in a mate.  Become that person.
