I am at work on  a       SSSLLLOOOOWWW  firehouse day, taking  amoment to breath deep and enjoy not having a darn thing to do. Really i mean it, it is a fantastic feeling NOT having to do a darn thing.  So today, your humble author, is taking a mental health day. Heck im not even reading, i am simply "being."

I have found for me, being busy has helped me with my BP fight. Working hard, riding my bike, cleaning the house, etc all has a bentifical effect for me. You see before, when i was an idiot shocked shocked shocked , i wasnt working anything but one job, and not really doing much of anything else. Having a lot of free time led me to being bored. Which combined with my hypersexuality led me to look for love outside my marriage.

However having a day off once a week or so is fantasitc for the soul and really is helping to recharge my batteries.

Well off to bed for a while before i have to do a 2:30 am alarmroom shift.

Talk to you all in a bit.

Took a mental health day, too. In DIRE need of it. Unfortunately it rained and didn't get to ride my horse (sunshine predicted for today so I will ride), but I laid around and read a book. Returned some clothes I had ordered at Coldwater Creek when I was on the manic kick and am going to use the money today to go buy some flowers to plant. When I think of me this time last year (I was very, very depressed), I am doing so much better. Last year I bought flowers and then never planted them and let them die. This year I actually think I will get them planted!! I actually think I need a mental health wwek.

I used to not be able to keep a garden growing.  I'd go through a depressive episode and everything would die.  This year is better already.  :)
