That is a HARD question. I used to get hypomanic quite a bit and I loved that, but past couple years I have been up and down the depression scale and that I do not like at all. I long to be hypomanic....I felt like me. Oh, well, maybe I will cycle back into a happier spot. So I would say being hypomanic is what I like best about being bipolar. (just doesn't happen enough.

Have to go with the hypomania. Boy that sure feels great. The creative aspect is good also as is the more powerful emotions such as love and of course the sex is out of this world.

But i am thankful for the modern meds that help me keep some control over this beastie.

I love variety.  With meds to keep me from getting depression, I still have all of my phases.  I get obsessed with different hobbies and interests.  It used to freak me out that I couldn't stick to something.  But now I know that I have 8 - 10 things that I really love to do and I'll rotate my interest in between them.

My SO will never get bored.  LOL
