Hi everyone.
I'm Rose. I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder at 14. I've had to deal with a lot of abuse and stress in my life. My counselor later diagnosed me as also having post traumatic stress disorder.
I've struggled with medication and counselors for a long time. I'm finally gaining some ground on my moods, but still not totally sure where I'll be from one day to the next.
Doing the best i can with what I've got. I've now got a wonderful support system and cut off the people who were hurting me, but it's all a work in progress!
There's so much to learn about me, much more than what I can just type out. Hopefully I can help some of y'all, and talk some things out myself.
Take care :-)

Hi rose, welcome to one of the best boards around. Look forward to you posting some, alot don't. Thats ok, but mor eimput the better, even if it is aggreeing with previous posts.

Cutting out the bad weeds in your life is one of the most important things you can do, and one of the absolute hardest.

Yep your moods will go up and down. That is the nature of this illness, and acceptance of it has helped me greatly in dealing with my life. I dont berate myself to much, or congratulate myself to much either, i am happy for the middle of the road when i can stick to it.
