Hi all,

I can't sleep! I have taken to many of my colazpam this month with no refills and now I can't sleep. I see a new p dr thios thurs but i have not gotten but 2 or 4 hours pof sleep at night for the las 6 days!

I know I messed upby takink more rx than what was prescribed but th dr reduced my mg 2 1mg from 2. I wasen't sleeping on 2 mg so I took 3. OH I am getting so irritable with no sleep.

Does anyone have a sug or experence that may help me fall asleep? Ihave even tryed taking alergy meds that are to make u sleepy and that hasen't worked either. Ihave been up reading for several hours with no luck!

If someone could give suig that wold be great. I know that I did this to my self but I need sleep or I may end up on the hospital!

Try staying awake for 1 hour.  Then go to bed.  If you don't fall asleep in 20 min, get up for another hour.  Try again.
Google it and try everything you find - like drinking a glass of warm milk (eww!).
Sleeplessness is dangerous for bipolars!  Good luck!

Thanks I will try that! I was thinking of tea to or mayce a walk before bed. I will look at google thanks.

What a beautifully helpful post, It's Genetic! This is one to turn to again and again when one has trouble sleeping. Thanks so much for posting it.
