I am so stressed right now, and need to get it off my mind.  We are going into forclosure and my husband got this big idea to short sale. So he called a realtor without telling me and discussed the short sale.  I told my husband that I am already stressed out about losing the house yet alone having people coming through the house.  He does not understand being bp.  He works six days a week and ten hour days so all the extra paperwork will fall on me along with showing the house.  I just wanted to vet to someone who would understand the overwhelming feelings of that stress.  I am just now coming down off a 4 month manic, and am trying to keep it together.  I am worried this will make me go into a deep depresson and I do not want that.  Thanks to anyone who reads this, it just makes me feel better to vent.

Wow, that i s alot on your plate all at once. Is he hoping to avoid having a forclosure on his credit, cause my understanding is that many banks arnt exactly being that helpfull with short sells. My neighbor across the street is just leaving an moving in with her mom. They said they will try and short sell but that honestly alot of people arnt interested, they would rather wait till the property forcloses and get it dirt cheap.
And no, normal people dont get what stress does to us. They seem either unwilling or unable to help us in controling stress on us. It has caused me many problems in the past also. And yes, even i am a bit bitter about it.

My husband and I thought about opening a new business and were so excited with the prospects
of financial abundance, new career for each of us, and being independent of a boss/corporate environ.

But I started thinking about how much stress and financial insecurity it would cause us and I had to
let the dream go. He understood bc he's Bipolar as well. I'm lucky to have married another Bipolar
although we have had major ups and downs...many break-ups...getting back together...hospitalizations
substance name hasn't been easy but we understand the disease and what each other
goes through.

I'm like Bill...stress is scary for us Bpers...bc we know what happens...I personally get depressed and wind
up not able to function for 2-3 too much stress...even if it means fun and excitement too has to be
watched carefully.

Try to take it one day at a time and just deal with stuff you need to deal with today. We bought a short sale very
quickly...and it turned out great for us and the sellers. We are very happy with our home. I bet you will find someone too.
Keep posting and good luck!

I understand. I lost my house in my last mood swing. Technically I still own it. Leased to my parents who are paying for it an trying to short sell. But wow. It still hurts and is a crazy amount of stress.

Hang in there. This is a temporary problem. In a few months you will be on the other side of this crisis.
