I would rather die. For real. If I have to go back on that stuff, they had better put me in the hopsital.

I have an appointment on Thursday. I hope they will give me a sleep aid. I haven't slept for a month now and it has been getting worse and my moods are getting more dangerous.

You MUST be crazy to stay on that stuff - especially after what you told me about when you first started it!!

I only took it once. Never again! I would have to be involuntarily commited to be forced to take it.

The first night i took it i slept from 8pm until 5pm the next day. then i slept from 8pm until noon. then i slept from 8pm until 10... now i take it at 8:30 pm and don't get sleepy until midnight and wake up whenever i want. i love that even if i dont feel tired, after i take it if i close my eyes for 2 minutes in bed i'm asleep. before it would take me hours to fall asleep.

I have had my very strong opinions about this drug for a very long time.

Years ago, I started on 100 mg (not the extended release .."XR"..tabs. Just Seroquel. I woke up to go to work the next day and could not feel my legs I was that zombied and drugged. I vowed never ever to take it again. Like Tortoise, I thought I would rather die.

When pdoc mentioned the XR tabs awhile ago, I thought fine, I will try them. I don't have the drugged feeling, but the XRs don't allow me to sleep much. So I am sure I will be going off of it in a couple days too.

Thanks for posting this Mogs!  I had my pdoc appt today.  Going to try XR.  I'm scared, but it seriously can't be worse than the regular.  And I'll never know what works if I don't try things.  I'm still hesitant.
