Ativan...aka lorazepam: It calms my nerves when I fly, along with a glass of wine or two! Beware as it can be addictive.

Wikipedia states: Lorazepam is used for the short-term treatment of anxiety, insomnia... Long-term effects include tolerance, dependence... Due to tolerance and dependence, lorazepam is recommended for short-term use, 2–4 weeks only.

Bonne chance.

I was taken off Lorazepam due to long term and some short term memory effects. I was on it for at least 6 years. Beware. Research it. To this day I have trouble remembering things.

I was switched to Klonopin (Clonazepam) and it helps with the anxiety and attacks just fine.

Best,
Mogs

PS Voix, not a good idea to mix with alcohol, although I know I don't need to preach this to you :)
