I love the rain and a good storm even better!

Had a rough time sleeping tonight and just came back in from sitting on my deck.  The wind is howling and a good storm in going to be rolling in soon.

Love how active my windchimes are right now!

WoooHoo!

Any other storm, rain, cloudy day lovers out there? smilewinkgrin

Yea  a good stormy evening is great, especially if you have somone to cuddle with. But if you dont its still great to see nature flex its muscles. After that a nice snowy eveining in front of a warm fireplace. Thats great also.

Yes, I love snowy winter days as well.

It seems when it rains or snows everything in the world goes a little slower.

I like that! blush

LOVE STORMS! The thunder, lighting, smell of the rain....Oh, it's all just so wonderful. I remember sitting on the porch with my sister and parents in Texas during tornado season....Those were some fun times.

I love to fall asleep with the sound of rain or a thunderstorm too!

Does anyone use those nature sound machines to relax/sleep?

Oh, I did that all the time when I was pregnant with my son! Don't you love those Sukay?! It was the only things that could get me to relax enough to go to sleep.

I really love lightning and thunder storms! And I have enjoyed walking in blizzards in deep freeze temperatures in the great white north. Watching crazy big wave action on the Great Lakes or ocean beaches is a blast. Listening to the wind blowing through the pine and cedar trees...... It is uplifting, energizing, affects us somehow at the cellular level! That calm before the storm, hyper alertness and I will often announce "weather coming", can sense it, smell it in the air. Love feeling connected to nature through weather.

Thank you Sukay for starting this post. It helped me change my mood just a little bit.... Season changing here, and SAD beginning to set in........ crap! :(

Sorry Mogli,

Hope you get some relief.

I love the cooler weather as well that Autumn brings.  It's almost here...pretty soon the leaves will start changing colors!

So glad I can have my windows open again and the air shut off from the long hot spell.

Walks are enjoyable again.  Took my doggie for a long walk yesterday at the woods.  She loved it!  Later we both took a nap.  ~*
