I'm sorry you are having such a rough time Cattie. But welcome to the forum. Do you have a good psychiatrist that you trust. It's very much a tough road of trials and errors with meds. But hopefully you can find a good combination.

I hope you start feeling better.

Hi, Cattie!   I understand completely.  I was diagnosed BP I and I had mixed states, too - awful!!!  Mine was mostly the mania with rage, marked irritability (coulnd't even stand the sound of anyone breathing or eating, made me want to jump out of my skin!!!)  Also had the severe depression with racing thoughts and couldn't sleep.

What are your meds currently?  What are your moods like?

Hi
I can relate somedays I done know what end is up or down. Im allways wondering if Im doing things right. I know that things cant get any worse but I would like things to get better. I have a 2 year old child ans all I what to get some stibility in my life and I hope it not so Kayotic!!! ( I know I spelled that wrong) But I feel like I wont to jump off a bridge some days and then other days I on the top of the world. But one of the worse things I cant seem to even please my self. So I hope the dr finds some meds to make me a great mom.

Mistee, I am sorry to hear you're having so much trouble - have you seen the doc yet?

Please know this - it CAN and WILL get much better once you get on the right meds.  But you need to learn all you can about bipolar disorder, too.  It will be partially up to you how well you do.  You have to talk to your doc a LOT - phone calls count, too!  If you aren't feeling right, don't wait to tell him.  don't just trust that he knows everything, because all Bipolars are different, we all have different responses to different meds.  Just because one works for some, doesn't mean it will work for you.  The more you learn and talk with your doc, the better chance you have at getting well.  I really do wish you the best!  Ask us anything, we've been there! :-)

You need to be in the hospital!  YOu are a danger to yourself and others.  Mixed states are nothing to play with!  They have the highest rate of suicide.  Stop messing aruond and get yourself admitted.
