Have you ever sat and watched someone talk but didn't hear anything come OUT ? All the sudden it is like their mouth is moving faster than the speed of light. You know they are talking, but either A: you don't care or B: You don't want to hear them. I seriously am having a BADDDDDDDD. day. I don't want to think, I don't want to listen, I don't know what the heck I want. I feel like some days I am making some progress then another freakin day like this happens. I won't answer my phone, I lash out, I yell at my daughter ( which by the way , makes me feel more inadequate). I just feel like I can't cope. I have alot of stress( who don't) , but could my surroundings at all, be affecting this. Sorry for my babbling , I don't know. I just don't know. Thanks for listening.

jjcraigo, thanks for your response. Are you currently taking Effexor? Effexor alone probably won't help the thoughts and feeling that you are have ? I might sound hipocritical here, are you seeing a pdoc? ( I am not ) However , my GP, is I feel one of the best . I have been on alot of meds, but also am diabetic. So I have to watch what I am on. I love my GP, he has offered and suggested that if he can't get my bp under controlI see a pdoc. If necessary, I will, but so far he tries so hard to help me. And I feel like he is qualified. So props to him. Let me what's going on with you . I will out of town for a few days, with no internet access. Check back soon. Good Luck. :-)

I've been off meds for over a year and everything was going great.I went on vacation to L.A. because I may be moving there and when I came back I got really depressed.See,I have alot of bad memories here and I basically hate this place.I loved L.A. and the weather and coming back here was quite a shock to the system.I did go to my doctor Tuesday and he said this is normal to feel this way because by coming back to this town it brought back bad memories and that threw me into a panic attack. He gave me Klonazapam and it calmed me down and I feel ok now but I'm moving in September so hopefully I can deal with this until then.
PS-I had 2 different doctors tell me the same thing.

jjcraigo, I am concerned - are you diagnosed bipolar?  I assume you are or you probably wouldn't be posting on a BP forum.  Why are you not on meds!!!!!!!  BPs don't just get well.  And effexor is not a good med to take for a BP, especially without a stabilizer.  Even you are just depressed at the moment.  I suggest you get a competent doctor (pdoc) who will treat you - you are playing with fire.

I am sorry for your situation, tho.
