 Hi guys and gals,
I started something similiar to this awhile and think to brighten the mood sometimes or help to brighten someone's mood, we should all contribute to a fun thread. So here is mine ...
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

                            Take some time and think
about it, I guess I asked the
                             question and do you know
                             I really don't know where I
would go . I am so silly!!!

I would go to Europe, mainly France and England.  I am descended from England on both sides, and I would love to see where my ancestors lived.  I'd like to experience their culture, too.  I am a member of a UK message board and there are only a handful of Americans as regulars.  Their language is sooooooo different!  I have learned loads (English expression, haha) about how they are in relationships, and believe it or not, those people are wayyyyyy more liberated about sex than we are (well, some of us, hehe).  I thought it would be the opposite, you know they come off so stodgy.

And I have always been fascinated by the French way of living, took French all through high school and it's really interesting.  Not to mention all the ancient buildings and landmarks to see.  Wow.

*Ok, waking up now*  Anyway, like THAT's ever going to happen.  I'm not rich enough!  *tear*

Ok , I couldn't choose. So indecisive me will put, Italy and Germany. I want to experience the whole culture of Germany, people , language , food, drinking, ....... With Italy, well dah, it's roooooomantic! Well at least that's what I have heard. Plus I love food,I l love to experience where the food came from, and do we even get it close over her.lol

Shannon, I took German in high school , getting ready to take spanish, after this semester. It starts in January! I have a full load for fall. Also I too am on a UK Bipolar forum, isn't it great. At first i was like wow, i will never be able to catch the lingo, but i have . Sometimes I have to say remember I am American. Do you have an avatar? I need to figure out how to get a whacky one. We have so much in common it's funny!!!! Talk to ya later, Nickie

Yeah, that's so weird!   One diff tho, it's not a bipolar board, it's called Female First, it's about everything you could think of that pertains to women, although at least half the 50,000 members or so are male  (sex boards, duh!)!  I just stay on the relationships and sex advice (of course, haha) boards.  But I would like to check out yours!

As far as avatars, you can pick some from the net, you have to download them, they are usually free, but you have to sign up for stuff.  I got a cool one from another board somewhere that isn't a free one - it's a blue eye (takes up the entire box) with a black pupil.  I thought it was cool, and nobody else has one.  I started a trend, tho almost everybody now has some kind of eye, now it's hard to tell them apart!  Except the older long term regulars, of course.

Anyway (rambling like I do, lol) you download one into a document, or picture file and then you copy it to an option on your profile.  I can't do it, Paul had to for god's sake!    I am NO computer whiz, I'll tell ya!

I wonder what else we have in common?

I would go to Tuscany in Italy, stay in a beautiful villa, taste local wines and cheeses and wander the countryside.

We are thinking of treating ourselves (and maybe save r marriage) in the Fall. I want to go to Italy, or the South of France. My husband did the backpacking thing through Europe when he was in medical school, so he wants to go to Greece. We are also thinking Amsterdam. Oh well, time will tell.

See ya' soon,

Patti, that is wonderful. Are you thinking of saving your marriage or do you want to save you marriage? How ya feeling today? I hope I don't sound nosy , I am curious . It helps me learn about a person and it also helps me in my own relationships. Does that make sense?

Hey Nickie, I really didnt understand the question..DUH!! And i have said before and I will say it again..YOU ARE NOT NOSY, AND YOU< SHANNON AND EVERYONE CAN ASK ME ANYTHING!!! My life is an open book. That is just me. I dont care what people ask me. I know many other people dont feel that way, and want their privacy. Me..ask away tongue  ! As far as the trip, we just thought if we got away, maybe we could put some of the crap behind us. But, you know me, tomorrow I will have a different view! Although tomorrow, I am using my Christmas gift certificate (can u say PROCRASTINATE) that my husband got me as a stocking stuffer, and I am getting a mani/pedi, facial, wax, and getting my hair colored. Thank God! My natiral hair color is a drk brown, almost black and a few years ago I needed a change so I did the highlight thing. Now, my hair is almost blond..not platinum, more like a Jennifer Aniston color. I actually like it better this color. But a lot of people like it better dark because I have blue eyes. Anyway, enough of that. I am having anxiety about going. You know I rarely leave my house, so I am nervous. But since my husband is coming next week, I thouht i would look like a human being, instead of the fright I have let myself turn into. Honey, I really need to know how to find a good pdoc. I know how bad I need help, and I have good insurance. But how do I find a good one. I know you guys must know as you go. Please try to help. hope to hear from u guys soon. I am worried about Shannon, she sounds down today, what do u think??? Talk to me real soon.

Love and sunshine from South Beach...which I hope next year we will all be enjoying ourselves, I hope u can come!

Love my buddys,

Patti  scool

Yeah my hair is dark brown too and right now my hair is blonde. I always keep some brown in it though. Last time I put dark underneath, around the bottom of my head &the rest was blonde. It looked really cool, it was trendy last year. This fall i am doing something completely different. Anyways, I don't see a pdoc, Shannon does. My GP treats my Bipolar. He is fabulous. I honestly wouldn't know how to go about finding a good pdoc. Not something someone usually goes around saying like reular doc. Oh yeah, my pdoc is great..... No one wants to say they are going to a pdoc right? Doesn't your husband know other doctors that maybe by word of mouth know a good pdoc? What about starting in your phone book, then searching like their credentials or something?! I am trying to brainstorm here. Nothing is coming to me. ...  I haven't talked to Shannon today I will read the posts too. Yoursis the first I read since earlier. Talk to ya soon.   Nickie
