Last nite maked my 9th day on my meds (37.5 mg Effexor & 50 mg Seroquel---after 1st nite of 100mg)---anyway, i'm sleeping much better since starting the Seroquel, but, last few days i've had a slight, but annoying headach.      Was wondering if either or both of these meds could be causing this----any others on either get headach???      Also, even after goods nite's sleep-----in morning & during day--feel kinda sleepy.   I take naps about 2:30 PM or so.     I guess that's the Seroquel, right?      Hope SOMEONE...or more...answers this---thanks---Robert (Wotan)

Hi Robert, I know that when the doctors tried me on Effexor I experienced a headache for quite some time but it did finally subside. I am now going off Effexor as it makes me wired like you wouldn't believe. Hope everything works out for you.

Hi, Robert I'm glad you're sleeping better - Seroquel is great for that!  The grogginess you feel is from the Seroquel, more than likely, it's known for that effect in some people.  It is also being used as a prevention for migraines, so that shouldn't be the problem.  Probably the Effexor

Thanks, Shannon.    Yep---i was reading up on Effexor--it's actually a very common side effect...but, it's a small price to pay---if I can sleep better, feel less depressed & less "edgy".  (See, I CAN be a pain in the a**---and, now you know i probably have a little "hypomania"...lol)-----Thanks again----yours posts are always helpful.    Regards--Robert
