Okay I must be an idiot not to realize what today was . I just watched a program about the World Trade centers. You know, how awful it must be even to this day, to go and visit a grave site or something where a loved one was lost. I feel so bad . I personally do not live in NY, but empathize with people who did. What  a tradegy. Just listening tonight about how Jason's friends talk about life in general hit a spot with me. Not about 9/11 or Katrina, just there life in general, what a pity how they percieve what life is. I look and go through life, like I should be there helping people, not worrying about what I am getting as a bridal gift or how much weight I should lose. Ohhhhh   that makes me so angry. I guess I look at life completely different . How materialistic can people be, talking about being a boob man and what not. Is it just me , or is that trivial. Sorry about my spelling. Anyways, I just wanted to say I am sooooooooooooo sorry about what happened , because at any given minute that could happen to me, or us here. Just remember how things are in life and what is important. God bless to all. luv Nickie.

How right you are Nickie.   Paul and I have many times talked about how very lucky we are that none of this disaster affected us like it did those poor people.   And I am outraged that help and food came FOUR days after the tragedy, even tho they were notified two days prior.  Pathetic.

I wonder, it doesn't seem to be as important as the tsunami.  Strange, since it was OUR country.

Ok, sorry for the negative spin, I am still mad from another thread I just read this morning.

We are lucky and I personally count every single blessing I have and don't deserve because of what I've done as a result of this illness.   Every single day.  I take nothing for granted, I (try to ) live and love as every day were my last.  It's too easy to take life for granted, I used to.
