Just a question--as I have done lots of research and talked to many people I have found that this hypomania phase causes me to want to clean, have everything in perfect order--task completion, and finally--painting is always something I want to do--paint a room, and not just a solid color--I have striped one bathroom with different size and shades of green--, used a feather duster to texturize my kitchen, and ragged my master bath.......

Whenever I get in these hypo, productive moods, I really want to paint and decorate---is there a reason for this??  Does it have something to do with the creative side of your brain?  I am a teacher and I use paint, music, art in my classroom A LOT to teach--very hands on, active teacher---I have always thought this was just my learning style as well--

Is there any relation to teh creative side of your brain and this hypo mania stuff???   In the whole scheme of things, it really doesn't matter and tomorrow I won't give a crap one way or the other, but tonight I am productive and curious--so humor me.... yeah    Just wondering!!!  Hope all is well and if not, hang in there guys--just one minute at a time......we are going to make it.  (Remind me of that in a few days....lol

Hi, Sassie -

I havent done much research on this phenomenon, but I am gong to read this book; it does interest me because I have always noticed a correlation - this week has been particularly creative for me, to the point the ideas are coming so fast i can't even keep up; I have to write them all down.  Kay Jameson Redfield is the famed author of "An Unquiet Mind", a must read for every BP and their family members, I am looking forward to this book.
