HI all!

Ok, from my post about not wanting to be BP, you can imagine I was coming from a bad place. Anyhow, on Thurs I started to get aggressive and everyone around me annoyed me, you know the routine. I thought it was pms and warned my fiance to be extra supportive this weekend. Last night I took my Lithium, but forgot to take my 300mg of seroquel (I take it closer to bedtime so I can actually stay awake and watch a movie!). Well, my sleep was very restless, but I woke up at 9:00 feeling refreshed and awake. Now normally I force myself out of bed at lunch time and feel sedated and frustrated. Now, I know the first thing that went thru my head is that I could be manic. But I feel very calm, relaxed and AWAKE, no sluggishness, no aggression. I think I am on too much Seroquel, it is not even the lithium's fault, as I have never had probs with the lithium. But can too much seroquel make you aggressive? I think I still need some for sleep, but i am doubting 300mg is the answer...I see pdoc on weds.

Anyhow, thanks for listening to me throw that around!

Hi, Shannon!

Well, I'm GLAD you forgot you Seroquel, lol, too much CAN be very very sedating.  I always wondered why you were on such a high dose when already on a good dose of lithium?????   But everybody's different, I just thought if it were me, I woulnd't function too well, having been on lith 3 times alone and had an overly drugged effect!

I don't agression is one of the side effects, since it is an antipsychotic, but perhaps the ongoing chronic fatigue had something to do with it?  A guess.  But definitely talk to your pdoc, maybe you don't need it at all, or you just need a tiny bit.

Always adjusting, aren't we,.......... :-)
