Stone age - heheheh.

Did you know there was an episode of The Flintstones that had a psychiatrist in it. The shrink's name was " Dr. Sigrock Freep".

Yes, I really am that old. ;-)

Does your new drug replace your old one?

Phew - that's good. You won't have to go through all the discontinuation symptoms associated with quitting Zoloft.

Adding that to your burdens now would SUCK.

Intimating that you might be ugly too, doesn't take the sting out of your comment, but I guess it depends on how you say it. If it's obvious you're sharing a joke with someone who would get your humor, then I don't see a problem. If you said it to be mean, then I agree with your brother.

I'm out of here in 15 minutes. Gonna have a coffee and then get my fat butt home. You live with your bro?

Hey,

I've decided that I'm going to be positive all day. Even if I end up just being positive about how I'm the best at being negative. LOL

You said your AM wasn't good, but is it better than other AM's?

I used to be a morning person, but I'm more of an evening person now.

So in the continuum of bad, where 1 totally sucks, and 100 sucks more than anything has ever sucked in the history of sucking, what's your score for this morning?

So, you're really NOT a morning person then? heheh

I started getting up earlier a couple of months ago, just to give me 30 minutes or so to slide into my routine. Actually helps quite a bit to sit quietly with a cup of coffee and wake up slowly.

So, since you're East Coast, you're already in the afternoon - so you're a 50 now. Way to improve! ;-)

Have you lived there all your life?

If I could live anywhere in the world it would probably be Paris or in some peaceful little town in the middle of the UK.

How 'bout you?

I've never been to Illinois. For that matter, I've never been to Missouri either. The only states I've been to are CA, NV, TX, and NY. I really like visiting your country, there's lots of cool places.

C'mon, let's play. We can be miserable together again in 15 minutes. For now, lets just play the "where do I want to reside" game. Please?

I'm 52, and frankly I can't wait to get into an retirement residence. My wife and I have worked in them before, so we kinda know what to expect and how to make it work.

That said, gonna be a while before I can afford to retire. :(

But, I can afford to dream, cuz dreaming is free. And in my dream I'm living in Paris eating croissant for breakfast and duck for dinner. Instead of this crappy meatloaf I'm eating right now.

Why did you move from Illinois?

Well let's face it, we're both old enough to make our own choices. I'm choosing to believe that there may be something good around the corner. What the hell, I've got nothing to lose by being hopeful.

Plus, there's no way I'm going anywhere until I see the last episode of Better Call Saul with my cat.

Heheh ... the bag I had my lunch in leaked, now I have meatloaf juice all over my pants. But, true to my attempt to stay positive, I AM POSITIVE THAT I HAVE MEATLOAF JUICE ON MY PANTS.

So yeah, my did you move from IL to St Louis?

i am unable to make any kind of choice. nothing is looking good for me except dying.
i am not allowed to see granddaughter because i am depressed

it would be easier to win the lottery than to be positive.

I was stupid enough to go back to school when i was older and graduate and move to st louis

I have been a complete failure here.
My sister in law said i was too old to do anything

How old is your sister in law? She sounds like she'd be fun to be around .... NOT! Unless she's 90, any opinion she has on aging is a priori.

I plan to be vital for another 25 years or so. I got stuff I want to do.

You're smart. Why do you think your depression is so all-encompassing?
