Hi Gaz,
I seem to run the other direction. I'm all energy although I do have many many headaches, and my legs do get achy sometimes but thats because i rarely stop walking and standing.
Good judgement comes from experience and alot of that comes from bad judgement.

Dear Gaz,
I know exactly what your talking about. I too have the tiredness and weakness. If I even do one thing around my house like the dishes I have to sit right down after and rest because I am exhausted. I have some pain in my legs but its mostly like a tired ache and comes more in the evening. And very very often I feel like my head weighs an extra 20 pds on my body and I just want to bang my head against a wall over and over until it feels "normal" again. Hang in there...I have been told it gets better....of course I am still hanging in there also!

I also get these feelings at times. Or I am so shaky that I have to sit down and just not finish all that I want to. I do things in little bits as I can and try to not stress so much that I am not as I used to be. My kids are great help to me in lots of things and that makes it easier for me. I dont know that it will go away. I have had it for a long time (ever since I started meds this time).

I also have these symptoms and have been diagnosed with both bipolar and fibromyalgia.  I do believe they are connected somehow.  Environmental factors play a role in both, such as stress either physical, emotional or both.  I am hoping that my doctors will work together with me to eliminate unnecessary meds, and get me back on my feet.  Nan

Sounds like you may well have Fibro--there is a comorbidity with bipolar of Fibro, CFS, migrains, epilepsy, IBS....... You name, we seem to be blessed with not just one illness, but often a whole host of them.

I have BP2, Fibro, IBS, atypical migraines, Myofascial Pain Syndrome, Reynauds and who knows what else.

wow gaz, I thought I was just being lazy, I always am feeling that way, by the end of the day I feel like my eyes are heavy & I haven't done anything! I made dinner last night & my legs got tired from standing at the stove. some days are worse then others. I think clonazapam (klonopin) makes it worse for me.

Hi gaz and Hello Bipolars!
Sindi here. I usually post on the Crohns' Disease Forum, but I am fortunate enough to have the dx of Bipolar I also. I was wondering gaz what meds you take, besides klonopin? And have you been feeling depressed or anxious? Along with most meds, moods can contibute to physical aches and pains.
