I have been waiting for over 2 months to see my pdoc. about two years ago he diagnosed me as borderline bp. I have begun to get a whole lot worse in the last year. I'm on prozac 40 mg and Xanax .25 as needed. My therapist, who specializes in mood disorders, says that I need to get into the pdoc asap. Now I have to wait another week. I've been to the point of no return and back again. Seems like I'm always teetering on the edge. Sorry. Just needed to vent. Seriously considered hospitalization in order to get a treatment going quicker. But very scared to go that route.

Hanging by a thread.

Unfortunately No. I live in a rural community and the one place that specializes is so booked. I've been put back another two days since this morning. ARGHHHH

TRY to hold out then...if you get to the point that you think you cant hold on, then go to the hospital and get admitted. that would be the best advice. Im so sorry this is happening to you. :(

Sorry you're having such a hard time getting in to the pdoc Peg. I know how frustrating that can be. Hang in there if you can, but if you feel like you are in real trouble, don't hesitate to go the hospital route. It's a scary thought, but sometimes less scary than dealing with it alone.
Take care and God Bless
Ellie
Good judgement comes from experience and alot of that comes from bad judgement.
