Is it me...or do some stupid things set off irrational anger. I can be doing fine all day, then BAM my daughter doesn't do what I say and I get irrationally angry and stay that way for a long time.

I get that way sometimes too. I will get angry if my husband takes too long in the liquor store while I'm in the car waiting. I also still can't stand my niece(by marriage) who I used to babysit even though it's been 9 months since she was here last! I just think about her and her behavior and my blood boils to this day.I can't stand her and won't allow her to come back over here again.Sometimes I get pissy with my mom and don't even have a reason for it other than I'm just in a mood.My dad has real bad moody issues. He is angry almost daily and especially on holidays. But he doesn't think he has a problem!!His moods change with the wind I swear anything can set him off at any moment for any reason and then after he blows,he's sorry or he will act completely different like there was never anything wrong at all,it's weird!?

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I feel okay, but most of the time I can't think straight and I get really scared, because I don't know how I am ever going to feel calmness again in my life. I no longer enjoy all the things I used to. I just can't muster up the motivation or interest anymore. I actually go today for a mood stabilizer.

I have a very concerned husband, but deep down, he doesn't really understand me. He thinks that I can will myself better. I have tried, I just can't control myself or my emotions. I have found a few things that make me feel....something/better. I used to listen to rap and hip hop music, but in the past couple of years I have slowly turned to metal (Seether, COLD). Going to their concerts makes me feel awesome. The physical and mental struggle of being in the front row. Also, instead of cutting myself, like you mentioned, I have taken to getting tattoos. Same thrilling pain, yet I feel awesome when my new tatt is blazing and beautiful.
