Rosie, I'm starting a new thread for you.  Rule of thumb is we try not to let the threads get longer than fifty posts.  No reason it can't continue though.  We're all interested in how this is going for you.
Please keep posting
Ellie

Thanks for reminding me Jennifer! -- Oops -- sorry -- posted my last reply on the earlier thread without even thinking!

Actually, I was thinking of winding down this thread anyway. -- I'd strayed quite a lot from my original question, even if the situation is ongoing (but aren't all of ours?!). It was really helpful for me to have it all in the same place for a while -- and helped me to review everything, but I feel like, mentally, I've turned a bit of a corner and am no longer quite so frightened of what's been going on, and able to handle this in more containable bits!

Rosie x

ellie,

you are a spoil sport!  i thought we were going to set a world's record with the other thread and all become rich and famous!  i'll do without the famous, how about the rich part?

rosie, i can tell you're getting better simply by the sound of your posts.  based on my own experience, however, just about the time i think i've "gotten it," i find an entire universe that i'd missed  :-)    this exercise almost keeps me humble (an impossible task at the best of times).  remember, you have friendes here whenever you need us.

rosie,

i am very glad that thread was kept going b/c i found it at just the right time, i think, in regards to my current situation w/ my husband.

It helped inspire me to call my own moratorium-i told my husband i would take him at his word that he was indecisive and all the other things he was feeling....since calling the 3 week moratorium last thursday, he has seemed to realx and talk to me more honestly and openly......i have been able to mention going to the doctor and b/c of the renewed focus on being calm, people have come out of the woodwork to offer help and acceptance.....

i don't know what will happen at the end of the 3 week moratorium.....

but we're both calmer and talking so that's good....

so-i am VERY glad that thread was kept going!

it was exactly what i needed to come across at that exact moment!
:)

I'm so glad this helped you Lucy!! -- That makes me very happy -- and hey, you and I have lots more help to share! I won't be stopping posting, never fear (well, me not stopping posting *may* be a fear for some of you -- ahahahaha!).

Thanks all -- you are truly a great support.
