i was wondering if a formal chat (you know scheduled, moderated, all those "good" things) might be efficatious?

logistics may be a problem.  when it's 8:00 cst here in the usa it's like 2:00 am in england and some time the next day for the aussies.  but we've all been dealing with problems all our lives, right?  just more 8%#@?!! OBSTACLES.

just a (wierd) thought.

hope everyone is ok today.

Hey Warren -- good idea. -- I know some of the other forums do this, and I bet someone can help with the time issue -- I'll ask on the mods board and find out if there's a reasonable time for all.

Not a weird thought at all!

I like the idea of a chat.  We have one every Tuesday night in the Fibromyalgia group. Sometimes we are serious and sometimes we're just silly but its fun, stress relieving and is a bonding type of experience.  I vote YES...Luv...Lazy

I think it's a wonderful idea and would certainly support a structured chat room; but I'm Bipolar and when I wake up in the morning, a meaning-filled chat is apt to sound awful sissy. So, right at the moment, I would jump in with both feet, hehe

Hi guys,

Chutz runs scheduled chats in Chronic Pain and got back to me on the time issue. So here's what we're working with:

Hi Rosie,

I run a chat in CP and we start at 6PM, USA West coast time, which is 9PM, east coast time..and I think 2 AM your time (UK). You are 5 hours ahead of our east coast, and 8 hours ahead of our west coast. Makes it very difficult. You might consider a weekend chat to avoid that problem. Below is a link to an internations time conversion chat. Hope this helps you some.

Tuesdays of the weekend are probably best for me, but let me know what you all think -- must be something we can work out!!

i also post to the cp forum and join their chats on tuesdays when i can. good experience.

i would think that we would need more people in on the chat if we have one. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE POST HERE SO ROSIE CAN GET ENOUGH DOUGHNUTS!
