There's a great summary of Bipolar 1 Disorder at:

http://remedyfind.com/HealthConditions/116/?more=1

It explains what characterises this condition and lists symptoms, what treatments are available, and even provides a member rating table for various diferent medications and other methods used to treat bp. You can also get a summary of conventional and less traditional emerging theories on the relation between bipolar and other mental health conditions, and how debates surrounding the diagnostic classifications can impact on treatment.

Information provided by Judy (Judyinky); summarised by Rosie (CounterClockwise). -- Thanks to Judy for introducing this resource to us.

Message from Moderator (CounterClockwise): That's ok hun -- I just edited the title for you so that it's now "BP1". (That's why it says your other post has been edited by me!) Do see my other messages though!! :) Rosie x

Hi Judy,

Again, really helpful info -- but the same possible problem as with your info on BP2 (off a website?Forum Rule #8).

Could I ask you again to edit if you are not the owner of this copyrighted information (or have not had permission from the owner) -- as I say, maybe a short quotation or two with a link to the website that contains all this info? Thanks hun! :)

. I'm not sure how to do the editing, but will try

Hi Judy,

Happy to edit them for you if you tell me the websites -- then I can make sure we still have the info -- and it's still great that you're looking out for folks by alerting them to these resources so don't feel at all bad!!! :) If you want to edit your own posts, just click on the little pencil icon in the box to the top right of your post -- then you can have all the fun editing that you like!! :) :)

Thank you so much. From now on I will know how to post something like that. I have posted links before, but wasn't sure exactly how to edit it and to take out what I had copied and pasted there, from here.

Thanks again, YOU are Super!!
