Went to the docs a week or so ago to have a chat about my assesment , she said it was best I didn't work for at least a few months.
Well , I know how bored/lazy/depressed  sad I get when I'm at home especially in the cold weather , so.........I filled out a job application and they called me in for an interview.
I thought it had gone really well........until.........the next day when I came down off my 'high' , and realised I had talked non-stop through the whole interview redface and far from looking eager , I probably looked rather scary devil Total mania!
Needless to say they never contacted me eyes
I think there was someone watching over me that day making sure I didn't get it , as I realised afterwards , I am in no state to work at the moment cos I haven't even started counselling yet , let alone meds!
So I was praying all that day - please don't phone , and , thank God , they didn't! yeah

Hi Smiler,

This is very funny -- and I totally get it! -- Sometimes things have a mysterious way of working out! -- If you hadn't been quite so manic then you might have seemed like a great candidate, they might have employed you, and ultimately this would have been terrible for your recovery. I am relieved for you!!

So, you (like me -- and probably countless others!) can get very bored/lazy/depressed at home and in cold weather? Right, in that case, it's time to start making some plans, getting a structure lined up for you. -- Being off work doesn't mean doing nothing. In fact, there are probably all number of things you'd like to do with some free time. Could you start making a list and investigate one idea each day? Nothing too strenuous in terms of you feeling like you're trapped -- just things that you could enjoy in a relaxing way.

Have fun thinking! :)
