I am really going through a rough time right now.  I am going between being high and low and then I end up with the combo of the two.  It is no fun and it affects my day to day life.  I barely function.  Sometimes I have no idea what reality is because I am so manic that I can't see straight.  I hate this.  I want this to stop.

it is part of our life, but i promise when your meds are straight out, and as time goes by you will gain personal ways of 'dealing'. I tell myself, for one thing' Di' this is not YOU it's the illness for one thing.

I just got out of my first 3 week long suicidal period that I thought I'd never get out of. Now I have my coping mechanisms that helped. I wrote them down so they'll help IF (God help me) there is a next time. Every thing you do that gets you through the low, will hel you next time. Buckle up, make notes, and know that you are not alone. ever. come on here' we'll walk you through it cause we've been there. And we promise it does not last forever.

Thanks Di...It seems like this will never end and that I am going to be stuck forever.  I appreciate what you have said.  I haven't learned any good coping skills or anything yet.   So, it is still a rough battle.
