Okay here's my rant:  Had appointment last week with cardio, everything was"benign".  After suffering from palpitaions for years I decided - enough, I will live my life ignoring them (everyone says they're benign!!!!).

I go to the gym and I swear that my heart "stopped".  Is that benign!!!  Now I feel like I'm back to square one:  worrying, confused and feeling sorry for myself.

Thanks for being there.

Have you ever considered the possibility that you might have anxiety? I have anxiety and panic disorder and frequently get palpitations and "flip flop" feelings in my heart - they are real physical symptoms which can be really scary but they cannot do damage to you.
