I'm so sorry about your condition, but you have to try harder to help yourself. Abusing yourself will not cure your illness. Stop the bad stuff. Change doctors. Sounds to me like you need more medication to really take care of the symptoms.

You don't have to live this way. Do you have any sort of spiritual outlet? Have you talked to a psychiartrist about the symptoms? You must help yourself and let other people help you.

Let us know how you are doing. The folks here really do care. Try to be a well person. APG

APG is right , it's only gonna make it harder to get better in the long run.

Go to your doc and tell them that the meds you were scribed aren't helping you , and that they need to rethink what you need.

Stay away from the nasties , try some relaxation techniques - the Anxiety board on this forum usually have some great stuff on there.

Look after yourself - there's no-one else like you in the world , you're unique and beautiful , remember that.

dear manic depressive,

WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU, PLS. KNOW: ALL OF THIS IS WHAT I NEED TO DO, MYSELF.

I think you SHOULD take MY advice because I'M IN YOUR CORNER. I'm a boiling cauldron of anger, self pity and resentment- who few who know me REALLY know.

Three things. the benzo and alcohol are screwing royally with your meds. Anyone doing all that at one time cannot hope to step out of their custom made from heaven bipolar world.

BACkTRACK CLOSER TO THE CORE OF ALL THIS, NOW:

BUT WAIT: WHY, NECESSARILY CHANGE?

HUMAN NATURE DICTATES YOU S H O U L D WANT TO ELIMINATE THE BAD - DISCIPLINE YOURSELF TOWARD THE GOOD...

BUT (AND I HAVEN'T YET DONE THIS, BUT REALIZE ITS CRUCIAL: YOU'VE GOT TO FIND OUT WHY YOU'RE ANGRY AND TEAR IT OUT BY ITS SCREAMING ROOTS. i HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS YET. i'M A WOMAN WITH GROWN KIDS WHO STILL HASN'T WANTED TO LIFT THE LID ON THE BOILING CAULDRON INSIDE, BECAUSE i DON'T WANT TO LET IT GO, i'M AFRAID TO LET IT OUT OF THE BOTTLE, FOR IT WILL BE POWERFUL - AND, PS, DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM.

SO: I'M LONG-WINDED, BUT IN ORDER TO GET WELL, ONE NEEDS TO WANT TO. AND IN ORDER TO WANT TO, ONE HAS TO REMOVE THE IMPEDIMENTS WITHIN THEMSELVES THAT STAND IN THE WAY OF DOING SO.

WRITE, WHENEVER. 1954

get off the stuff, and if your dr. doesn't know you're doing them, t e l l him or her. do you think its news to the drs. how many of us abuse that stuff?

OK NOW - WAIT A MINUTE; WE'VE GOT TO BACKTRACK. Why should you even WANT to

I have edited your post as I feel that what you said was unnecessary (please read rules 14 & 12) , I am just another person trying to get along in life , fair enough we have different opinions and we should be able to express them in an appropriate manner according to Healing Wells' rules. Also , please read rule 15 concerning the use of capital letters.
Smiler.
