Ambien and mood change

Ever since I started on the ambien, about a week later i'm going through mixed episodes. Can ambien cause this?
Dianosed Bipolar I: On abilify, prozac & trazodone. Mom to 3 little ones. Wife to a great husband.

I have attached some links that say ambien can make a mania worse.

I hope these information are helpful, I looked on a lot of website and was only able to find the above links.  I have taken ambien before, but I stopped because it stopped working for me.  I am nor sure it made my mania worse, but that was some time ago.

I took ambien once and it did the exact opposite to me. I was up all night and didn't get any sleep. That was the last time I took it.
 
You should call your doctor about mixed episodes they'll probably prescribe something else.

Taking Trileptal 300mg twice a day

I agree with Zomese, you should definetly let your pdoc know right away.  Especially if you are having a mixed state.
