Hi all, I am new here and have been looking for a place to vent and to read.  My regular Doc said I have Bi-Polar and sent in a refferal for me to see a Pysc.  He tried a couple of different meds, one worked for a week then didn't, the other put me to sleep and left me in a daze all day.  By what I have read so far, I must have the cycling type because my moods go from one end of the spectrum to the other and back all in the matter of hours sometimes.  I used to have better control but in the last couple of months, my control has slipped  ,   alot.  Just a few words to start my rambles.

Tacoffin,

Almost ten years ago i was diagnosed with bipolar disorder from a doctor who didn't know left from right. It wasn't until two years ago that I sought further psychiatric care. Two years into therapy and I am beginning to realize that although he was a quack I do indeed have bipolar tendencies...along with other disorder tendencies. I would love to write back and forth with some that I can share this with. This is something that is difficult to deal with on my own and i just would be nice to have someone to share with.
