I have had a headache since Tuesday at around noon. I go to sleep with a headache and I wake up w/ the same darn headache. This headache also includes pressure / pain in one or both of my eyes. Ahhhhhh!

Does anyone else experience this? I wonder if it is related to the bipolar / depression. I actually just had to call in sick to work. I've given up on Advil because I had been taking it so much that I'm afraid I may be having rebound headaches.

It seems that I have a headache more often than not. I wonder if trying so many different bipolar meds caused this?

Zomese,

Do you think it is meds related?  I had the pressure above both eyes, and headaches when I took Seroquel.  I had it most recently with another AP that I am taking, I took cogenten and it went away within a week.  I would call a pharmacy, or your pdoc if it does not go away.  I just wanted to let you know you are not alone.  Best Wishes!

yeah   I had those headaches for years. that last day after day. I am sorry that you have this occuring.. I have Bipolar 1, so I think the headaches are from  the disease..especially in the depressived side....

I cured mine throught massage therapy. and medication. Paxil.. anti-depressants.... and can say I am free of them now.... If you can afford massage therapy try to massage your head and neck. and this will make a difference if you do it everyday ........

I started having cluster headaches immediately following the birth of my last child. I immediately went into postpardum depression and the headaches began. Recently I had one that lasted 2 weeks. They are horrible as being in pain doesn't help with your moods.

I've had a headache almost the entire month of August. The last 2 days have been better though. I hate taking medicine, but I've been taking Advil almost everyday. I even took Claritin today and yesterday just in case it was allergies. The claritin seemed to release the pressure/pain in my eye.

I go to sleep & wake up with the same stinking headache. It drives me nuts. It's not like a regular headache where I'm still able to function, I actually have to lay down and take it easy.

I haven't taken an Advil in 2 days, so I'm hoping that is a good sign of the days to come. I have fun plans for the weekend and don't plan on letting pain get in my way.

Please tell me you've talked to the doctor about these headaches, Zomese.
Ask me about my Bipolar Disorder!
