Thanks for thinking of me.

I'm struggling a bit. I thought I was stronger than parts of me are proving to be. And, if I miss any rehab or work out, it really is showing that I have to keep fighting to be able to keep me walking or the nerve damage from my surgery will not heal all the way - and it is my one year anniversary this week since the spinal surgery. So, want to or not, I am off to the gym so I can report to the rehab doc on Wednesday, I have done my work!

I saw your update posting....GOOD FOR YOU! Keep up the good work for yourself. I'm so proud of you. LFW

If only our body matched our spirit and will. :-)

You are doing the right thing by continuing to work at it, because you know you won't always be in this same place. With all of this work....you will get where you want to be. It may not be as quickly as you would like, but you will get there!

I found a great quote the other day, and I have been reading it often.

The essence of optimism is that it takes no account of the present, but it is a source of inspiration, of vitality and hope where others have resigned; it enables a man to hold his head high, to claim the future for himself and not to abandon it to his enemy.

LFW,

Wow...one year anniversary this week since the spinal surgery! You've come a long way baby. You did a lot of work. I am proud of YOU! I know it couldn't have been easy, but you stood committed to it. I hope your appointment goes well Monday. Keep us posted. Stay well.
