I thought I would give an update as to how I'm doing. I noticed that Mogli & Honey Bee were kind enough to inquire in another thread.

I'm doing really good. I only take my Seroquel 50mg maybe twice a week. I have no bad side effects at all. The Seroquel makes me a little slower to rise in the morning, but once I have my coffee and jump on the treadmill I feel great.

I'm so greatfull that my pdoc worked with me and lets me just take it as needed, it seems to work better that way for me. That way I can still function at work and feel like I'm functioning and still in control of my life.

I haven't had any mood swings. No rage, no depession. I've just been happy. Just like normal. I've been like this since the first week or so of September, when I first started the med. My OCD seems better too, I don't get a thought in my head and keep repeating it over and over, and not nearly as much counting or tracing. No panic attacks either. Still some anxiety off & on though.

Even my husband comments on the change. Needless to say he has been very happy.

I've been doing things I haven't done in a really long time, and feel I fine in social situations again. I no longer dread people approaching me for conversations, I actually look forward to it.

I hope everyone else is doing well too. I am so happy to have found this website. I feel like I've made real friends here.

Zomese:

Hooray! How nice to hear you're feeling balanced finally. It's also just nice to "hear" your voice; glad to know you're still checking in on us. Keep up the good work, and impart some of your newfound peace to our craziness. :-)
