Hello,  I have a close family member who was diagnosed with BC during the summer last year. The person concerned is a very private lady and I repect her wishes for privacy. However I feel that in trying to protect her family she is not getting as much support as she needs. I am sure her condion is far worse than she would like us to believe. I would be very grateful if anyone can provide an idea to what may happen next and how I can show my support and love. Before this occured I was  considering moving away from the area but am not sure what to do for the best. Should I stay close by,will I be needed to provide daily care?
I would like to know what to expect if somebody is diagnosed with BC has chemo and lymph nodes removed then 6 months later they find after an additional MRI they then have a small brain mets which is treated with a course of radiation?

Thank you for your help.

Sorry, I can't help you with information on what to expect next with brain mets. Probably radiation treatment of some kind. You say this person is a "close family member" but did not say what the relationship is. I am wondering if there is someone else who would be responsible for being the caregiver should that time come. If she has other family, why do you feel this should be your role? Lauri
