Hi, My name is Valerie and for the past 7 years I have had problems with my right breast, there was no pain yet I would feel a tingling sensation and or icthing and when I squeezed the nipple and small discharge would come out. It was always white unless I squeezed a little too much and then it would hurt and a little red would be added to the color of the drainage. Then about three weeks ago it just stopped draining, it was never a signifigant amount anyways but then the pain came and the swelling right under the nipple, could not tell if  there was a redness or not due to the location, It has gotten bigger everyday and now you can feel the not under my nipple and can see redness coming out from under the nipple. No matter how much you squeeze, the drainage is gone. What do you think??

Hi there-
My best advice is to see a doctor. There is a great chance that this is just a benign breast condition like mastitis or just an infection, but nonetheless, we're not doctors and I would not want to guess at this. Please report your findings to a doc and let us know how it turns out!

I agree with Lori.  The only way to be sure is to see you doctor.  I would try to get in as soon as possible.  That will help ease your mind, instead of worrying about something you don't really know about yet.  Let us know what happens.

I'll make it three votes for seeing a doctor. Lauri
