My nephew's wife was just diagnosed with skin cancer (melanoma).  She had a mole removed that she had for a long time and the biopsy came back as melanoma.  She will be having surgery soon, although I don't know exactly when.  Please keep her in your prayers that everything will be fine.  She has 3 children - one has autism and one is only 9 months old.  My nephew is currently out of a job, too.  They have continually had struggles in life and now this.  It just doesn't seem fair.  I know - life isn't fair.

Thanks!
L & H,
Kathy

I forgot - is there any way we could use the PCE for her?  I know it's usually for bc, but it couldn't hurt to take a different flight.

Oh Kathy, what a shame. I am so sorry for all that your family has been through, this is really not fair! I think the PCE can make a round whenever we need it, regardless of the cost of jet fuel! Just let us know where and when....

Kathy- I am in prayer for your nephews wife. She is under a protective blanket of prayer now, many people are in prayer for her, for you, for your nephew. God bless.
Peace be with you!

PCE is fueled and ready and I can not imagine a more needed flight. I am sure everyone will be glad to use PCE for this mission of caring. This is one family that really needs a break. I am so sorry all this has fallen on them. Love, hugs and hope for better news soon. Joyce

Hey Kathy

I spent the weekend with Paula and Steve aka Howie.  News was a little bit of a surprise to them too.

I am going home today but leaving my little one with her Aunt and Uncle and Grandma and Pappap.

Thanks for the prayers and use of the PCE.  I'll let you know when the surgery is scheduled.

Annette.........how is my brother?  I never hear from him or your sister!  LOL  He was online earlier, but never responded.  Glad you got to spend time with them.  How are you doing?

Hey Kathy.  Doing good down here in little Morrow Ohio. Jordan keeps us busy with gymnastics, dance and swimming.  Shipped her off to her Grandparents last week so we had a little bit of quiet time.

I have driven up to Amherst twice these past two months to hang out by the pool.  Paula and Steve are doing good.  He is working security now and I am thinking he is not too happy with it as it is pretty hard on his old man legs, but he is working which is better then a lot of people right now.

Any word on when surgery is being scheduled?

Annette,

I know he is having trouble, but in the long run, it might be good for him to move around more.  And, it is good that he's working.

No word yet on surgery.  She sees a dermatologist around the first of Aug.  It is evidently small, so I'm hopeful that it is not deep.

Kathy

Kathy

Sorry it took so long to respond but I laughed at loud at your comment about Steve that was my feeling too.  He needs to get in that pool and theirs and start exercising.  But they seem to be doing okay.  Their stress level has gone down in the past few months so that is helping too.

Hi Kathy,

In my prayers for your nephews wife.  I see life has dealt you some hard knocks too!  There is not enough cyberspace to list the ones I have encountered lately from breast cancer.  So I totally understand!

Many years ago I was going through a hard time as well, everything seemed to go wrong, all big - none little if you know what I mean.  I was venting to a friend about it and in a flip manner said, "God and I need to have a talk because I just don't know how much more I can take."  My friend gently placed his hand on mine and said, "HE is listening."  It wasn't until then I realized I hadn't asked God for help.  I did talk to HIM and HE did listen.  I found new paths and new windows that led to better things and am sure you and your family will as well.

God and I are working through another troublesome time now as mentioned.  I pray for guidance and help and each hard knock so far as been answered with tons of support from unexpected places and where to get help.

My prayers are with and wish you all well,
Karen
