This is really off topic, but I thought I should let you know that DH and I leave Sunday for about two weeks in Alaska. We fly into Anchorage, have 6 days of touring on a bus, then board a cruise ship in Seward for six more days. I am kind of nervous about the whole trip, but everyone keeps telling me that we are going to have a great time. We shall see... I will give you all a complete report when we get home. Hugs, Lauri

I've had several family members go to Alaska for vacations and extended periods of time and they all loved it

Have a wonderful time! It's  a dream of mine to get there too. I just spoke to someone yesterday who went there for 10 days tent camping! She saw all kinds of animals and all kinds of people. It think it is just majestic. Enjoy!

Nothing to be nervous about.  DH and I did an Alaska cruise (inside passage) and it was wonderful.  I love cruising.  Can't wait to go again.  I've been on a number of them, fortunately, but not in a while.  Cancer has a way of putting those things on hold.

Have a wonderful time!  I'm so jealous!  LOL  Give us a full report when you get back.

Have a great trip, Lauri. I haven't heard you complaining about ANY of your many previous travels! So why be nervous about this one? I've never been to Alaska, but everyone I know who has gone once always wants to go back again.

Hugs...
