cookie, I did not post at the end of your reply regarding stage IV survivors. I wanted some of the more experienced ladies to read and reply to your post, so I started this one to help reassure you. We understand your feelings - I am a stage IIIa survivor - coming up on 4 years. Your treatment experience will most likely be different from mine. Just make sure you eat a balanced diet.
My internet service is acting up so I am doing an edit so I won't lose everything. Food may or may not taste good, so you will have to make every effort get the nutrition you need. Also, I can't remember where, but I did read somewhere that one should control allergies and also that cancer cells "like" sugar, so I kept up with allergy meds and limited my sugar intake. Let us hear from you after your dr. visit.
